The Modern Hunter-Gatherer

The Modern Hunter-Gatherer is a photo series based on my experiences of human nature in modern society. The work combines high quality photographs, pictures taken with a phone and text. The role of humans has changed in many cultures from the time of hunters and gatherers; now we are free to "collect" things beyond survival needs. We hunt for items, memories, attention, observations, and psychological analyses. We need things to fill our emptiness.
