Armi Utriainen, born in 2003, is a Finnish photography student from the Lab Institute of Design and Fine Arts. Before her current studies, she studied photography for a year at Paasikivi College.
She mainly works with photography, video and writing and enjoys combining analog and digital methods. In her work, she is interested in turning negative things into positive ones. She likes to create stories and complete tasks in her works and finds text to be an important part of them. She finds the meaning and process of the work always more interesting than the technique she is using. She is inspired by sleepless nights and the naivety of youth.
